Perspectives and strategies for a responsible and economic action of tomorrow
The ethical debate surrounding AI seems dominated by top-down regulatory approaches that are not only unfriendly to innovation but also leave little room for efforts in business ethics. Big Tech has failed to meet societal expectations. This book presents alternatives and introduces a new approach to AI ethics as business ethics – one that does not rely on large corporations, but instead builds on morally superior startups. In this context, a concept of responsibility is proposed and analyzed – one that is both philosophically well-grounded and appealing to practitioners.
Written by a distinguished researcher as well as entrepreneur, this book offers an insider’s perspective on the ethical challenges of AI—going beyond abstract theory and regulatory discourse. It draws on real-world insights and proposes a practical, innovation-friendly framework for thinking about responsibility in AI.
The highlights of the book at a glance:
- Proposal of an innovative approach to AI ethics as business ethics
